Brandeis Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS Series)

Brandeis is the title sponsors for the 2019 Midwest Spring Car Series. The series is 20 races over 6 different race tracks in central and southern Indiana. And if we weren’t excited enough about that, Certified Rental , in partnership with Takeuchi, is sponsoring the “Hard Charger Award” given out with each race.

The MCSC has a 19 year tradition of bringing some of the best non-wing 410 sprint car racing to the region. The schedule spans from April (May with the rain!) to October. Be sure to check back to this page for updates on the series and to see when we may be hosting a Customer Appreciation event in your area. And a special thanks to our partner, Komatsu, for making our sponsorship possible.

October 19 2019 - Tri State Speedway

The “ Harvest Cup “ at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday night, October 19, 2019, brought a close to the Brandeis Midwest Sprint Car Series  season. Brandeis MSCS was matched up with the USAC National Midget Series and the MMSA Mini Sprints to make for a great night of racing.

The Brandeis MSCS Sprints had 4 heat races won by Kyle Cummins, Kent Schmidt, Stephen Schnapf, and C.J. Leary. The “B Main” was won by Dakota Jackson. This set the field for a great feature race on Saturday.

Come feature time it was time to break out the broom, as Kyle Cummins finished off the season with a win, which meant he had swept all 8 feature races held at “The Class Track” this year. Quite an accomplishment at any track, much less one where the competition was provided by both the Brandeis MSCS and co- sanctioned events with USAC. Kyle was followed by Stephen Schnapf in second and Shane Cottle in third. Critter Malone picked up the “ Certified Rental Hard Charger Award” after advancing 8 spots in the feature. Series awards were also given out with Kyle Cummins as the 2019 Brandeis MSCS Champion  and Chase Hayhurst receiving Rookie of the Year honors. Congratulations to them, and all of the series competitors and fans, for a great year.

The other big news of the night, is that Brandeis Machinery will be back as the title sponsor of the series in 2020. It has been a great year and we look forward to bigger and better things. Stay tuned for updates and news.
